SOS VILLAGES D’ENFANTS: WHO ARE THEY, AND WHAT DO THEY DO?

SOS Villages d’enfants is a French non-profit organization of public utility which works in favor of children’s protection in France and around the world. Since 1956, the NGO takes in siblings separated from their parents due to serious family reasons and places them under the care of a SOS father or mother. These committed and passionate volunteers offer children in great difficulty a stable emotional and educational framework - which is essential to their development - by recreating a family life and maintaining their fraternal ties.
