Sœur x SOS Children’s Villages
SOEUR JOINS FORCES WITH SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGES SO THAT BROTHERS AND SISTERS CAN SHARE
THEIR CHILDHOOD.
Sœur makes a pledge to SOS Children’s Villages.
All the proceeds from the sales of the new “Thibault” sweatshirt
– available from July 5th online and in stores –
will be donated to the association.
In 2023, Sœur also provides for 30 young girls from SOS Children’s Villages and its young people’s home, Maison Claire Morandat,
assisting them in gaining access to employment by donating a wardrobe of several items to each one.
This partnership between SOEUR and SOS Children’s Villages – which stands for the importance of children to grow up in the same home as their own brothers and sisters – was an obvious choice for the apparel company’s two founding sisters:
a way for them to pledge their support to a cause that they truly care about.
SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGES: WHAT’S THAT?
SOS Children’s Villages is a French association officially recognized as a public service that strives to protect children in France
and throughout the world. For almost 70 years, it has been accommodating siblings who have been separated from their parents
to allow them to grow up together, with round-the-clock care provided by SOS foster mothers and fathers.
These dedicated, caring people offer children the stable emotional and educational framework that is essential
to their development by recreating a family-like environment. Sibling relationships are key to the association’s work.
With 17 villages in France and one young people’s home, the association welcomes
almost 1,000 children and young people. Three new SOS Children’s Villages will open
by the end of the year and over the coming years to meet accommodation needs.
Sœur would like to help make that hope a reality.
